Air Compressor Parts & Accessories FAQ's

At Air Compressor Products & Services Pty Ltd, we receive a variety of questions about our products, how to size and install the best compressed air equipment for our application, and many more. We’ve listed down some of the commonly asked questions we received and provided relevant answers. Please check them out:
Are all your air compressor products brand new?
We have brand new, used, second-hand, ex-demo and ex-hire equipment from time-to-time. We can provide details by email at any particular time if you can provide your requirements to our office.
What equipment will best suit my need?
We will need to discuss your specific requirements with you. So, if you can, do not hesitate to call, email or send us a message. We can reply with a comprehensive quotation with pricing and technical details.
What air compressor and related equipment brands do you service?
We can normally service, repair and maintain all brands of compressed air equipment.
Will you service if my unit is outside of Sydney?
Yes, we can normally provide our Servicing Technicians or organise our Servicing Partners to visit your site.
How often should I service my air compressor?
The answer depends on how often you use your air compressor and the operating environment. If you use it occasionally, then an annual service will suffice. If you run it regularly, then a six monthly or quarterly service may be required. If the operating environment is very dusty or humid… more frequent servicing or specific inspections / checks may be required.
What size of hoses / piping should I use?
This will depend on the size of air compressor you are using and the volume of compressed air usage at all of the locations in your factory. To be sure, discuss this with one of our engineers. Generally, the larger the volume of the air compressor... the larger the compressed air piping that will be required.
What happens if water stays in my air reciever?
The majority of air receivers are made of mild steel. This means that if water remains in the tank, it is likely that rust will begin to accrue. Depending on the degree of the problem, contact us on how to fix the problem.
What air compressor and related equipment brands do you service?
Your air compressor should be serviced routinely at predetermined intervals. We can recommend a specific interval for your particular application depending upon factors such as the installation location and the operating environment.
Will you service if my unit is outside of Sydney?
Yes, we provide a wide variety of solutions and services that are tailored to your air compressor needs. Our account customers can reach out to us for breakdown servicing and repairs after our normal working hours.
